Malou C is a fashion retailer based in Helsinki providing clothes to independent women. The brand goal was to make the shopping experience of buying clothes a more personal touch offline and online. 

To create a more unified shopping experience, we moved the site over to WordPress and created an e-commerce platform powered by Woo Commerce. The uplift in brand development also meant creating in-house processes to include digital asset management, storyboarding and photographic imagery that would reinforce how social content would be produced.

The photography was a key factor in establishing a cleaner look and feel for Malou C as well as provide a message of growth for the customer. By focusing on people and profiling the customer a little more, the brand became closer to its intended audience. Ultimately making the brand exposure more personal.

Photography

The main component to Malou C’s brand building was the photography of collections over the annual season. On location work using at times, the customer gave the brand a uniquely personal approach to the look and feel of the campaigns.

WordPress E-Commerce

Pivoting from a website that was only used as a blogging channel into a fully functioning online store, allowed Malou C to reach a wider audience. By building a refined stock management tool that aligned its in-store sales it formed a backbone to all the social, promotional and purchasing options available to a customer.

Multi-channel marketing

Specific social channels were chosen to deliver the brand that would allow the customer to purchase anywhere on their digital footprint. Underpinned by advertising and email marketing successful campaigns were measured, tested and refined to optimise reach and conversion.
